A Vision for the Nation: Welcome Commissioner JooYeun Chang

We are honored to welcome national leaders JooYeun Chang, the acting assistant secretary and principal deputy assistant secretary at the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Sixto Cancel, the founder and CEO of Think of Us. Commissioner Chang will share her vision for child welfare and how Texas is a key player in shaping our nation’s success, as well as his impressions of how Texas fits in with the national child and youth services landscape. Sixto has been advocating for change at the intersection of child welfare and advanced technology since the age of 16. Sixto has amplified national conversations around data in child welfare, assembled stakeholders from diverse disciplines and delivered concrete results for the field. He will provide his take on the national landscape, state innovation with regard to serving youth, and what he’s encouraged by.
