This was my first year attending the Conference and I thought it was amazing. The Conference was very informative, offered skills/techniques as an administrator to place in the workplace and role model for staff, and allowed for relational situations and insight on how different individuals different obstacles.
Dr. Marisa G. Franco holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland and works as a professor there currently. She writes for Psychology Today and she has been a featured psychologist in The New York Times, NPR, and Good Morning America. Dr. Franco delivers talks about connection and belonging all over the country to private companies, universities, and non-profit organizations.
Isaac Etter is a social entrepreneur. Isaac was transracially adopted at the age of two. He is the founder of Identity, a startup focused on using technology to help foster and adoptive families thrive, and the owner of a small business strategy agency, Etter Consulting.
Dr. Amelia Franck Meyer is the founder and CEO of the national non-profit, Alia: innovations for people and systems impacted by childhood trauma. Amelia and Team Alia are working with parents and partners to create national movement to keep children safe with, not from, their families.
